The 1994/1995 season is a season few of us will forget. The Premier League Championship!
At that time Rovers had players like Alan Shearer, Graeme LeSaux, Stuart Ripley, Tim Flowers, Kevin Gallacher, Henning Berg, Chris Sutton, Paul Warhurst, Jason Wilcox, Colin Hendry..you name them. But now...not ANY single one of them are playing in Rovers. After that remarcable season, Kenny Dalglish left Rovers and Ray Harford took over.

Me and many others believed in him. I figured..he knows the club well, he won't do anything stupid,but it didn't take long before he sold his first players. And more sales were coming. Stars like Shearer and LeSaux left. okey..Rovers received a lot of money from them, but it was...not to be rude to Ray, a dumb thing to do. The next season didnt work out and Rovers ended down at the table.

But let's take a look at the season 1994/1995. Rovers played like they never had done before. They beat almost everyone..But don't forget the season before that. Rovers were up in the top then too. Alan Shearer were better than ever.scoring hat trick in every game. And Chris Sutton, the defender/attacker from Norwich found himself comfortable on top with Shearer. The last round of 1994/1995 was far too scary for me. Rovers and Man Utd were the teams fighting for the title. I sat there infront of the TV..watching Rovers lose, BUT..so did Man U! So, Rovers could celibrate their first league-title since the 1914 season.
