This site is mostly for Norwegians. I could have written this page in Norwegian, but in case anyone outside Norway has interests in Norwegian football, I choose to have all the sites in English.

CLUB HISTORY
FK Haugesund was founded 28.10-1993, and is made of two teams (Djerv1919 and Haugar) FK Haugesund started in 2. division which they quite simple won in 1994. In 1995 FKH got a bit tough start in the 1 division with many losses and their CUP-adventure ended fast I 1995, but a very good ending of the season, FKH ended at a nice 4 place. In 1996, FK Haugesund played really well and it ended with promotion to the TOP division. FKH ended in 1 place, the place ahead Sogndal. FKH's first year in the TOP division went quite well. They reached the quarter-final in the CUP, and ended 9th on the league-table. But in 1998, FKH was relegated from the TOP division. But it took only one season to get promoted again, so now Haugesund is where they belong.
